How do I get the VX8300 installed on the USB port?22 Nov 2007 03:21 GMT1
I've got drivers and it sort of acts like it sees the phone.  I had to
jump through a lot of XP hardware hoops to get to this stage.  Still, the
when I try to get data from the phone, I get a COM failure from the
software.  Is there a right driver?  Is there a trick, an ...
Razr "Unauthorized Charger"20 Nov 2007 15:17 GMT4
I bought a car cord/charger at a computer show. It fits perfectly, but I get
a message on the phone that reads "unauthorized charger". I have done some
research and found that this occurs frequently with after-market chargers,
and sometimes even with OEM charges. Usually, folks ...
Verizon plans - Mobile Web vs. Data Plans20 Nov 2007 02:29 GMT16
I have spent a frustrating day trying to figure a way around Verizon's
apparent greediness.  I currently use a 2 year old Motorola Razr with
Mobile Web 2.0.  I bought a synchronization product from Motorola that
lets me update my phone numbers from the computer.  But what I really
iphone not required19 Nov 2007 13:05 GMT16
A breakfast this morning a friend was showing off his new ipod, which had a
big touch screen, wi-fi access, browser, and all the spiffy stuff I think
the iphone does, EXCEPT it is not a phone.  He uses a verizon phone for
that.

I downloaded a new Opera 9 version browser, tonight, and got
looking at MiniOpera, a server-based conversion browser for the
tiny phone screens.
Anyone tried it?  What do you think?

neat video from their web site that is available to watch fro YouTube.
Bluetooth headset for VX8300?16 Nov 2007 17:39 GMT4
Can someone recommend a BT headset that works well with my LG VX8300?
I've tried two Moto H500's (mine and my wife's), a Moto H850, and my older
Plantronics Explorer 320 that all worked fine with our old Moto V710 phones,
but do not play well with the LG. I went to the H500 ...

Cruise Ship service16 Nov 2007 00:19 GMT26
Two of my family plan members are using their Verizon cellphones via
shipboard relay.  The calls sound OK.  Steady quiet signal, but perhaps a
bit low on audio level.  The calls have a delay/lag so I'm guessing they are
bouncing off a satellite from the cruise ship.
cell phone jammers15 Nov 2007 23:58 GMT44
Has anybody ever heard of cell phone jammers? This is a handheld device
that disables signals from another phone and causes the other phone to
stop working. I saw some on websites for sale but cost too much. Anybody
know how to find one at a  real cheap price? And I am a Verizon
