For some time, I've noticed that *22899 is a one-step way to do a PRL
update instead of the "*228, Option 2" method. You don't get any
prompt; you simply go straight to the update.

First question is what format(s) is/are supported?  Is this a locked

Many years ago, my computers at work were set up to e-Mail a short text
message to my cell phone when they needed "professional help".  The
address I sent to was something like 1234567890@msg.myvzw.com where
123456etc was the number of my cell phone.

Do I need the "music kit" to listen to music on these phones?  Can I
just use a microSD writer and copy MP3's on to the card, put it in the
phone, and listen to it?

I was playing with a Verizon prepay phone that had expired
minutes and discovered I could make a 1xRTT DUN connection.
Is this normal or an oversight on Verizon's part?

Have been happy with my last two phones, v3m and e815, but it's time for my
