Is there anyway to get pics from an email to my phone 2 use as a wallpaper?

I currently have a VX8300 and my question is if Backup Assistant will
restore my contacts to a Motorola or another manufacturer's phone if I
elect to move from LG?

A friend just lost all of the phone numbers in her phone because
something in it broke and the store techies could not retrieve them.

Can I use my E815 as a modem for going online with a palm TX?  Both of
these devices have bluetooth.

I gave my son this phone for Christmas, but he is finding that some
things play, some don't.  There  seems to be no consistency to the
pattern.  He is using the USB cable to load the music onto the phone
via WMP synch or even drag and drop.
