My kid and two friends are going on a 3 week backpacking trip, and all their phones have a GPS feature. (My son's phone is a Samsung SCH-A950). Assuming the GPS feature has not been switched to "911 emergency only", and assuming the phone is in an active zone for the carrier in ...

| BlackBerry Pearl Flip | 21 Jun 2009 23:03 GMT | 1 |
As predicted, it showed up today on VZW's website. Perfect for those who want a BlackBerry and, like me, won't have anything that isn't a flip phone. I also appreciate the much larger keys than other BlackBerrys.

I'll be relocating to Sydney, NSW, Australia in a few months for work. I plan on signing up for mobile phone service in Australia, but using my Verizon Global Phone (crappy BB Storm) for a short time. My family are naturally coming from the US to visit me at times, and
