In Brief: Brocade acquires Therion Software   05 May 2005 13:35 GMT
Networking storage company Brocade Communications Systems announced it has acquired Therion Software, a privately held company that makes software management solutions. Brocade has acquired all of outstanding shares of Therion for approximately $9.3 million in cash. The company expects to record a one-time charge of $7 million to $10 million associated with acquisition in the third quarter. Brocade plans to unveil new technologies developed as a result of the acquisition at the Brocade Conference 2005 on June 1 in Santa Clara, Calif.
