Symbol Technologies on Tuesday announced wireless security and management products aimed at helping further the adoption of enterprise mobility. The new offerings include the Symbol Wireless Intrusion Protection System (IPS) solution for detecting and preventing intrusions to a wireless network; RF (radio frequency) Management, a network performance and management tool; and the next-generation WS2000 wireless switch, which is designed for small businesses and enterprise branch offices. All will be available beginning in the third quarter.
