TrackPoint is designed to help managers quickly locate business travelers when unexpected events and crises occur, such as severe weather or terrorist acts. TrackPoint, a component of the American Express @Work reporting suite, uses an intuitive graphical user interface to let users quickly drill down to the country, state/province, and city level, aiding in decision-making when crises occur. TrackPoint updates traveler information every four to six hours, ensuring that evolving itineraries are reflected. By allowing users to view travel data eight days prior to the travel start date, TrackPoint also improves pre-travel planning and analysis. TrackPoint will be offered to the company's U.S.-based clients and made available globally over the coming months.
