Vodafone posts first-half loss

AFP - The British mobile phone group Vodafone has reported losses totalling 5.105 billion pounds (7.573 billion euros, 9.711 billion dollar) in the first half of its financial year.

Comcast, the No. 1 cable TV operator, later this month will add wireless to its offerings in Boston and Portland, Ore., says Sprint CEO Gary Forsee. No. 2 Time Warner, at about the same time, will add it in Austin and Raleigh, N.C.
