AT&T service -- wtf?21 Nov 2003 16:57 GMT1
I'm an AT&T GSM customer. Originally when I signed up I went for the
cheapest charter plan, I think it was $19.95. A few months after that I
upgraded my plan to the $29.95 national plan. That was supposed to include
200 minutes and unlimited night and weekends. "Sure," they said, ...

I purchased a T616 from a local store (Tanasbourne, Oregon).  While
buying the phone, I waited 1 hour while the salesperson went into the
back room to talk on the phone.  By the time he came out of the back
room, the corp. accounts dept. was closed.  I didn't get my account
Migrating back from GSM to TDMA21 Nov 2003 05:24 GMT13
Group,
We just recently decided to take the plunge, and try AT&T WS GSM network,
with very mixed results.  We're in the San Francisco Bay Area, and found
many gaps in the network, while my old TDMA phone worked reliably almost
Here's why AT&T WS doesn't care about it's customers.21 Nov 2003 05:19 GMT1
In my case it's simple. I was never advised that I could put my rate
plan on suspension whilst going on vacation. Consequently I chose to
back my rate plan to the $19.99 and lose the promotion. I was not made
aware of that at the time I made this change.

Anyone want to venture a guess as to whether ATTWS is going to match

I'm leaving AT&T and the main reason is poor customer service.20 Nov 2003 07:01 GMT7
I have been an AT&T wireless subscriber since back in 2001 when it was
originally SunCom in my area.  Anyway, I was about to leave SunCom while it
was still Suncom and they offered to let me drop my minutes from the $35 400
minute plan down to the 100 minute plan for $19.99 which ...
How ATTWS "sells" their service.19 Nov 2003 17:19 GMT3
Twice in the past 2 weeks I have stopped into an ATTWS Company store in the
