Anyone try using bluetooth or USB to hook up a laptop or PDA?
Can ATTWS really track whether you're using the UTMS phone as a modem?

Cell phone for Asia/Europe30 Aug 2004 18:49 GMT61
I am traveling to Asia/Europe for a couple months and would like a GSM

This doesn't have to be the highest quality phone and a used one will
be ok. My US service is TDMA, so the phone will just be for such trips ...
coverage in Des Moines, IOWA30 Aug 2004 15:18 GMT1
Am looking to purchase a pre-paid (pay-as-you-go) plan for a cousin in Des

the handset from Kenya).
Only T-Mobile and ATTWS have coverage there, so would appreciate any

ATTWS Still Marketing Aggressively29 Aug 2004 16:43 GMT22
I find it strange that ATTWS continues to market aggressively, in the fact
of the upcoming acquisition.  In the past week, they have put 4-page color
inserts in our Sunday paper, they continue to advertise on radio (probably
TV, too.  I don't watch much).  I just received a ...

AT&T and Cingular may lead the pack (again)28 Aug 2004 12:33 GMT6
I was pretty down on the whole GSM conversion when coverage was very poor,
but something happened here in Oregon within the last 30 days that will make
AT&T/Cingular a top competitor. Cellular One NW appears to have overlaid
GSM, which is one of two carriers with a large amount ...

I receive news and weather info via SMS from MSN and Yahoo.  A big advantage
